The 6.3-inch display matches the Pixel 9 closely in size, and its resolution and maximum brightness are also competitive. The camera is the area where the Pixel 9 meaningfully outperforms the 9a — optical zoom, larger sensors, and better video specs. For social media, documentation, and casual photography, the 9a is more than capable. For demanding photography use cases, the 9 is worth the premium.
